While Spotify has never tried to promote deeper interaction between music lovers and artists or each other(Peckham, 2018). According to Ho(2016), 70% of the money made by Spotify has been spent on its song royalties to recording companies and musicians. It still not to be profitable even with more than 15 millions paid users (Ho, 2016). Although the revenues of up to $ 2 billion in the market, Spotify, the biggest player in the market, still had a nett loss of more than $ 200 million in 2015 (Ho, 2016).
